I love pampering myself at home! Especially after a stressful day. I love being able to spoil myself with face masks, exfoliating, and soaking in a hot bath!
Now that Valentine’s Day is long and gone, it’s doesn’t mean the self love has to stop. Honestly there’s nothing better than taking care of your self after a long day at the office, or on Sunday’s when you’re preparing yourself for the new week ahead. Today I’m partnering up with June Jacobs Spa to share my at-home spa day rituals!
I like to wash my hair and apply a deep conditioning mask. I like to apply a deep conditioning mask before I take a bath because the steam helps the hair mask penetrates through my scalp.
What’s a spa day without a relaxing bath? I like to go ahead and prepare my bath by adding a bath bomb and bath salts! This is the time for me to relax so I like to make my baths as luxurious as possible.
While my bath water is running, I will go ahead and prepare my skin for a facial mask. I will go ahead and wash my face as normal and then I will go in with June Jacobs Sensitive Mandarin Polishing beads to exfoliate my skin. What I like about this scrub is that it is paraben and preservative free and it’s formulated for sensitive skin. I also loved the mandarin scent! It smelled very natural. My skin felt so great afterwards and it definitely helped with the dry patches I had on my skin.
After exfoliating, I’m going to apply the Mandarin Moisture Masque. In the winter, my skin tends to get really dry and I need all of the moisture! The Mandarin Moisture Masque has one of my favorite ingridients which happens to be hyaluronic acid, which is great for retaining moisture in the skin. This mask is in a gel consistency and I’ll let this sit on my skin while i’m in the bath.
While in the bath, I like to use a body scrub to exfoliate my skin. Since we are sticking with the theme with the skincare products, I want to make sure that my entire body is exfoliated and moisturized. After that I’ll go ahead and rinse off and apply my favorite body butter!
Since the mask had enough time to treat my skin, I’ll go ahead and reveal my soft and hydrated skin!
