Travel Diary: Nassau and CocoCay Bahamas

*This vacation was during Thanksgiving, finally decided to post*

This trip, I was fortunate enough to spend my Thanksgiving holiday on a cruise to the Bahamas. I have always wanted to go on a cruise and this was the perfect time.

Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau, Bahamas

I spend 5 days, 4 nights on the Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas and we sailed to Coco Cay and Nassau.

Never  being on a cruise before, I was looking forward to all of the activities that were on the boat. And they definitely made sure you were entertained. From shows, the casino, pools, karaoke nights, etc. Everywhere you turned around there was something to do.

Not to mention, I ate A LOT on the cruise, which was expected. When I’m on vacation, I try not to worry so much about calorie counting or things like that.

On the boat, I spent my days laying out on the top deck looking at the breathtaking view as well as hanging out with my cousins that I haven’t seen in a while.

The service on the boat was amazing! You can definitely tell the employees on the boat are very passionate about what they do and they make sure you feel comfortable. I can’t even tell you how many times the housekeepers came and cleaned up the room.

Coco Cay, Bahamas

We arrived at the first stop of the trip at Royal Caribbean’s private island. This was probably one of my favorites about the trip. I enjoyed laying out by the beach and looking at the CLEAR blue water. They even had a nice barbecue style set up for us when we arrived.

Nassau, Bahamas

We arrived in Nassau the next day and I was excited about coming here. With it being a major city, I was curious to know what it was like. We explored through Downtown and experienced the shopping.

Overall, I had a great time and I’m looking forward to planning my next cruise!
